Pathology of the Electronic Learning System of Medical Education (Case Study of School of Medical Education)

Introduction: Information and communication technology has led to the emergence of new ways of teaching and learning. Electronic learning is also one of the new ways of learning in the present era; Therefore, for the e-learning system to be effective, the e-learning system should identify and eliminate the damage that exists.
 Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explain the damage of the electronic learning system of medical education.
Research: method In this qualitative study, using qualitative content analysis method, with a deductive approach, structured interviews were conducted from senior students in the field of e-learning in a targeted way. Also, 15 papers and 2 books in this field were reviewed and analyzes continued to saturation.The registration unit was considered cantact (Themed) in this research. At the end of the inductive content analysis, and with continuous comparison of the codes, 7 categories and 35 sub-categories emerged. The main categories are content, student, master, planning, support, technology, and technical.
Results: According to the findings of this study, the electronic learning system of medical science universities as a new system in the field of education and learning has been damaged and medical universities should try to identify the injuries Each section of the electronic learning system will deal with the elimination of damage and provide the ground for the advancement of this kind of education in medical sciences.
Conclusions: This study can help guide the practice of instructors and e-learning designers to increase the effectiveness of e-learning courses in medical education and ultimately make learning more effective.
