Cognitive and metacognitive styles were applied to the experimental group in 10 sessions. At the end of this period, both groups completed the above questionnaires as post-test. Data were analyzed using covariance analysis. Results:The results of data analysis showed that cognitive and metacognitive training significantly increased social learning and social self-efficacy (p = 0.001), but there was no significant effect on social adjustment of scholars. Conclusion: Considering the effectiveness of cognitive and metacognitive training, it is recommended to improve the academic status of students and increase social self-esteem.
