Methods: This research was a correlation research. The statistical population consisted of high school students in Babolsar. In this research, 395 people were selected using multi-stage cluster random sampling. Data collection tools included a perceived ability questionnaire, perceived parenting styles, anger control skills. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and path analysis were used to analyze the results.
Results: Path analysis showed that perceived parenting style (authoritative, authoritative, and indifferent) through mediation of perception of solving ability was able to substantially explain the control skills of anger in the form of structural relationships.
Conclusion: The results of this study emphasize the importance of perceived child-rearing styles in solving ability and control of anger, so that anger control skill can reflect the strong parenting style and the ability to solve the problem.
