Methods: This descriptive-comparative study was carried out in 2016. In order to compare components of nursing PhD program curriculum in Iran and for United State universities. data were collected by searching through the internet and compared using Bereday’s four-stage model: description, interpretation, juxtaposition and comparison. Results: There was fundamental difference in, students' admissions and the number of units offered (educational content) in Nursing Education PhD program in US Universities and Iran.
