FOCUS-PDCA model is one of the efficient tools for this aim. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of FOCUS-PDCA model on student satisfaction. Methods: This is a semi-experimental semi-experimental study of pre-test and post-test, which was conducted in the first and second semesters of the academic year 2019-2020 in the faculty of Nursing, University of Medical Sciences, and 5 research management processes were selected. Data collection tools in the satisfaction section were measured by a researcher-made questionnaire at each stage (before and after the intervention). In the discussion of process timing, the execution time of each process was measured and reported in terms of days. Results: The mean time of the processes was reported to be 74 days, taking into account the time consuming nature of some of the processes that took place during the academic semester. After the formation of FOCUS-PDCA workshops and the promotion of upgrades by students, the average time to perform these processes was reduced to 55 days. The average percentage of upgrades reported was 65%. the average satisfaction of graduate students with the research processes of the School of Nursing was 63.6%.
