Health Education and Health Promotion Curriculum of Grade six is Based on the Assumption of Health System

Background and Aims: Health education and health promotion curriculum is very important subject in order to raise awareness and develop a health culture of student. For the importance of health issues in the process of students’ health, it is necessary to establish an educational curriculum that can be able to hold all essential needs of health education.

Methods: In this article, "Shannon Entropy" content analysis method is used, which discusses data processing in the content analysis using a new vison, both quantitatively and qualitatively. In Information theory, entropy is an index to measure uncertainty expressed by a probability distribution. The content of all text books the Grade sixlong with 12 main components and 58 sub-components of Health education and promotion was examined.

Results: After discussing the entire six grade 8 books, the component related to mental health with 73 and physical activity with 735 cases allocate the highestfrequency, and control and prevention of diseases was the least frequent with 6 frequency.

 Conclusion: In the content of textbooks, some components of health education not even noticed or is less significant, while health is the most important factor in development and guarantee the progress of society. So that the design, implementation and management of development programs in the healthcare, underlie basic concepts such as health more than any other factor.
