Introduction: The aim of this study was to determine effectiveness a training package for cool executive functions on the academic motivation of sixth grade elementary normal students in normal schools. Methods: The research was performed by quasi -experimental method of pretest-posttest with control group. research Sample was Included 2 sixth grade classrooms from 2 different primary schools in Tabriz in the academic year 1397-98 that were selected by selecting multi-stage cluster method and randomly divided into two experimental and control groups. The experimental group was trained for 16 sessions. Data from the Academic Motivation Questionnaire in the pretest and posttest stages, were analyzed using statistical analysis of covariance. Results: The results showed that this package has been significantly effective in improving academic motivation, it significantly increases external and internal academic motivation and significantly reduces Lack of motivation in the experimental group(p <0.001). Conclusions: The findings generally confirmed the effectiveness of the educational package of cool executive functions on the academic motivation of sixth grade elementary students. Therefore, this educational package is recommended for training sixth grade elementary students.
