Background and Aims: The main purpose of this study was to examine the evaluation of effectiveness in short–term training courses of the students of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in 1390 according to Kirkpatrick model.
Methods: A quasi-experimental, the sample in this study consisted of students serving in the Education Unit, Faculties of Medical Sciences University in the two groups (trained, 60) control group (untrained, n = 60) have been studied. Members of the matched sample of job experience, job duties, hours of training, course selection have been studied. The main tool for data collection was a questionnaire based on Kirkpatrick Model.
Results: The results showed that the implementation of short - term training courses on the increase of knowledge, improvement of attitude and increase of skills of the students of the students of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences was effective.
Conclusions: The results of this study showed that trained students in four levels of reaction, learning, behavior, and outcomes than non-trained staff has positive result
