Introduction The present study aimed to design a model of primary education curriculum based on UNESCO's physical fitness and life skills using a combined approach using the views of teachers in this field and elementary teachers.
Methods: The statistical sample consisted of 375 teachers and teachers who were selected by random sampling of teachers and the sample of targeted specialists. Then, a researcher-made questionnaire was developed in four parts: goals, content, teaching and learning activities and evaluation. This study is one of the mixed studies. In the qualitative part of the questionnaires and curriculum development of content analysis methods, survey and study of relevant backgrounds was done in the formulation of questionnaires and goals, and in the quantitative part by quantifying data and information from the method. Simple and complex quantities (such as statistical analysis). The measuring tool consisted of a 94-question questionnaire developed in the Likert scale and content validity was approved by technical professors and had a validity of 0.97.
Results: The data were analyzed by SPSS software at two levels of descriptive and inferential. At descriptive level, central tendency indices, dispersion indices were used and inferential level Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and Wilcoxon test were used.
Conclusion: The findings suggest that the implementation of the UNESCO-based elementary school curriculum based on physical fitness and life skills can be applied in the elementary school and can be used.
