Introduction: Academic involvement is one of the basic variables of the teaching-learning process. This is even more important when it comes to e-learning; Because one of the success criteria of electronic courses is the level of engagement. The current research was conducted with the aim of the effectiveness of instructional design based on integrated electronic learning on academic engagement. Methods: The research method was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the research included all undergraduate students of Farhangian University of Hamedan province in the academic year of 2021-22. From this statistical population, 30 people were randomly selected and assigned to two control and experimental groups (15 people). The tool for data collection was Reeve & Tseng academic engagement questionnaire, which has been confirmed to be valid and reliable. To analyze the data, the covariance statistical test was used with the help of spss software. Results:The findings of the research showed that instruction design based on integrated e-learning is more effective than conventional e-learning on students' academic engagement.Conclusion: Based on the results of the research, it is suggested that in the electronic teaching-learning environment, the principles of instruction design based on integrated electronic education should be used to increase the academic engagement of learners.
