Abstract

Introduction: One of the problematic factors in the field of education and learning is academic burnout. The aim of the present study was the discrimination of students with high and low academic burnout on the basis of test anxiety, alexithymia and academic achievement.
Methods: Method present study was causal-comparative. The population consisted of all male and female students studying in Azarbaijan Shahid Madani University in the 2016-2017 academic year that according to Krejcie and Morgan table, 360 students were selected by multistage cluster sampling method. For data collection from questionnaires Maslach academic burnout inventory (2002) and anxiety test of Friedman (1997), Toronto alexithymia scale and the first-semester average of students used. Data were analyzed using software 16 spss and statistical test discriminant function analysis.
Results: Discriminant analysis results showed one significant discrimination function that the according to this function test anxiety was the highest possible power distinction between two groups of students. Next distinctive variables the groups, were alexithymia and academic achievement. Also, the results of the discriminant analysis showed that most students with low academic burnout were correctly distinguished from the student with the highest percentage of detection (78/1%) and 78% of the students in the two groups according to the resulting function was properly reclassified. The results of this reclassification show the ability of these variables in the distinction between students with different academic burnout levels.
Conclusions: In educational programs for the prevention and reduction of academic burnout among students to test anxiety, alexithymia and academic achievement require more attention.

Abstract

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to prediction of students psychological well-being based on multicultural experiences among students of Ph.D. University of Bu Ali Sina, To achieve this goal, was used a descriptive correlational study.
Methods: The statistical population of this study is the Ph.D. students of Bu Ali Sina University in the academic year of 96-97 With 854 people what using a stratified sampling method, 269 people were selected using Morgan's table. Information Collection Tool was Narvaez and Hill multicultural experiences questionnaire of (2009) and Ryff psychological well-being questionnaire (1998). For data analysis, Pearson correlation and stepwise regression methods have been used.
Results: The results of this study showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between multicultural experiences. Also, multicultural experience alone Explain the 17 hundredth of the variance of psychological well-being and with Multicultural desire explains the hundredth of the variance of psychological well-being.
Conclusions: In the first step Entered multicultural experience and has a meaningful and positive coefficient (0.418) and in the second step entered the multicultural desire in Equation and also has a meaningful and positive coefficient (0.196).

Abstract

Introduction: Application of ability and capabilities of modern educational technology is an opportunity to achieve effective and optimal learning. Also, localization is the consideration of indigenous knowledge in order to accumulate global knowledge of local needs and desires. In this research, with the native approach and according to the existing need, first In this research, the e-book، design، production and its impact on learning levels and retention were identified.
Methods: The present study was carried out in combination with two qualitative and quantitative methods, the statistical population was undergraduate students at Allameh Tabatabaei University. The experimental group used a hypertext e-book. The data collection tool was a teacher test questionnaire whose validity was confirmed by specialists in the field of educational science. Using descriptive and inferential statistics (covariance and regression).
Results: By comparing the data obtained in the control and test groups, the learning method with a hypertext e-book increased the learning and memory of students in the lessons of research methods in educational sciences in the experimental group (P value <0.05). The difference in mean of experimental and control groups is not significant at reminder level. However, the difference between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the level of understanding with regard to F at the level of less than 0.05 was significant. Also, the difference between the mean scores on the level of work and the higher, according to the obtained T, is significant at the level of less than 0.01.
Conclusions: Therefore, it is possible to use the capabilities of the new technologies in the teaching and learning process in accordance with the standards in the design and production of media and the media to enhance learning.

Abstract

Introduction: Social intelligence and resilience are considered as important factors affecting the probability of suicide among students. Therefore, the aim of the present study was to investigate the role of social intelligence and resilience in the suicide probability of students.
Methods: The research method was descriptive and correlational. The statistical population included all students second high school of Ahar city in the academic year 2017-2018 who A sample of 337 students was selected by the cluster random sampling method. For data collection from Tromso social intelligence scale (TSIS), Klohnen ego-resilient scale (1996) and the suicide probability scale (SPS) were used. Data were analyzed using software spss 22 and statistical tests Pearson correlation and multiple regression (stepwise).
Results: Pearson correlation coefficient results showed that social intelligence and resilience with the suicide probability of students significant negative relationship (P<0/01). Also, multiple regression results showed that social intelligence and resilience, they could significantly predict the grades of suicide probability of students.
Conclusions: The results of this study showed that social intelligence and resilience played an important role in reducing the probability of suicide among students. Therefore, in any planning for the prevention and reduction of suicide among students, social intelligence and resilience need special attention.

Abstract

Introduction: Organizing and advancing the career path is a reciprocal action and requires comprehensive and dynamic interaction between faculty and university.. The aim of this study was to design an external career path model among faculty members of Urmia University.
Methods: In order to achieve this goal, a qualitative approach and Qualitative content analysis were used. The research community of Urmia University professors in 1398 who had scientific and executive backgrounds as well as familiarity with the field of behavioral sciences and management were selected and based on the theoretical saturation of the data, 23 of them were studied face to face. Semi-structured interview method was used to collect data. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed using qualitative software (Maxquda18) in the form of open source and selective codes.
Resuits: After reviewing and analyzing the interview codes in two formats, open and pivotal, open codes included 33 and pivotal codes including 5, which were formed as the main dimensions and components of the faculty members 'external career path and the desired model of faculty members' external career path was presented. . The 5 main components of the faculty members 'external career path are interpersonal and transformational competencies, extra-organizational research development, communication with industry, scientific relations and collaborations, and communication with the community, which are presented as the main dimensions of the faculty members' external career path.
Conclusion: Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that career path can create many changes in the individual and social life of faculty members and will help align the motivations, talents and individual abilities of faculty members with job responsibilities and duties, and also It will lead to the acquisition of academic identity and planning for the professional development of faculty members.
