Introduction: Predicting psychological well-being based on positive thinking with the mediation of emotion regulation in girls with premenstrual dysphoria was the main objective of this study.
Method: Based on the assumptions of correlational research and path analysis, by implementing three scales of psychological well-being, positive thinking, and mediation of emotion regulation on a selected sample (N=135) of girls with premenstrual dysphoria who referred to clinics and counseling centers in Karaj in 2013, the necessary information was collected using a simple random method.
Findings: The results of path analysis showed that there is a significant correlation between positive thinking and psychological well-being with the mediation of positive and negative emotion regulation strategies.
Conclusion: Predicting psychological well-being based on positive thinking with the mediation of emotion regulation in girls with premenstrual dysphoria was the main objective of this study. |
