Introduction: The purpose of this study was to develop a structural model of the relationship between the ethical leadership of academic managers and the educational function of faculty members with the role of mediator of their professional ethics. Methods: This study was conducted in a descriptive-Correlation study in 2016-2017. The statistical population of the study consisted of all faculty members of Islamic Azad University, Islamic Azad University, using cluster random sampling method. Eleven comprehensive university units from northern, southern, eastern, western and central regions The country was selected randomly and then, proportional to the number of faculty members of each of these units, and through SPSS Sample Power sample size software, 400 subjects were selected as the statistical sample of the study. To collect data, three researcher-made ethical leadership questionnaires, professional ethics and educational performance were used. Content validity of this questionnaire was confirmed by expert opinion and its construct validity through factor analysis. Their reliability was also 0.99, 0.99, using the Cronbach's alpha coefficient, respectively. And 89 /. Was calculated. Data were analyzed using SPSS 23 and Amos Graphic software. Results: The main findings of the research indicated that the variables of ethical leadership of university administrators in total account for 80% of the variance in the educational performance of faculty members, and at the high level they can explain the variance of the educational function of the faculty members, and fit The data is in the model and all of the indicators indicate the utility of the structural equation model. Conclusions: In general, a model of structural equations designed based on the environment of the statistical society indicates the importance of the ethical leadership of academic managers as well as the ethics of faculty members in developing their educational performance.
