Purpose: The purpose of this article is to identify and review teaching methods based on learning styles in medical science education and provide a suitable model. Research method: The research method is mixed (qualitative-quantitative). In this research, in addition to document study, thematic analysis technique with MAXQDA12 software was used to identify teaching methods based on learning styles. The statistical population in the qualitative part were all experts in the field of education and medical sciences, after conducting 15 interviews, theoretical saturation was done after analyzing the interviews and teaching methods and their implementation stages as the basic and organizing themes of extraction and finally integration. Themes are done. Findings: Findings in the qualitative section included 6 teaching methods and 33 implementation stages for them. In the quantitative part, in order to determine the effectiveness of each teaching method, the structural equation method was distributed among 387 professors of Tehran University of Medical Sciences with a researcher-made questionnaire. The quantitative part showed that among the teaching methods, the multi-sensory method has the highest effect with a coefficient of 0.947 and the individual method has the least effect with a coefficient of 0.865. Conclusion: The results showed that among the 7 identified methods and the learning style, which is a systemic learning style, the multisensory method will have the highest impact on learning.
