Clinical teaching and its shortcomings from the viewpoint of medical residents (Case study of Alzahra Isfahan Medical Education Center)

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to identify the problems of clinical education of medical residents of Alzahra medical center in Isfahan.
Methods: In this research, descriptive-survey method was used. The statistical population consisted of medical residents of Isfahan Al-Zahra Hospital. Sampling was done by simple random method. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire in two parts of demographic questions and questions related to the research objectives. Content validity of the questionnaire was verified by 5 experts in the field of educational planning and its reliability coefficient was 0.94 using Cronbach's alpha coefficient.
Results: Findings showed that the mean scores related to the problems related to the teacher was 2.76, which is less than average in comparison with the average of 3. The mean scores for the environment variable and facilities are 3/23 and 3/63, which is, in comparison with the mean 3, higher than the average.
Conclusions: Therefore, in terms of residents, problems related to the facilities of the hospital, more than the problems of the professor, and it is necessary in this regard, the necessary measures are taken by the deputy of the support and training center.
