Introduction: The challenges of religious education in adolescents, especially female students of the second secondary level, is one of the main concerns of experts in the field of education, especially religious education. There are several factors that cause challenges in religious education, and according to education experts, individual factors are the most important of them. Based on this, the present research was compiled with the aim of identifying the most important individual challenges of religious education of female students of the second secondary level in Tehran. Methods: The research is descriptive and qualitative (content analysis) in terms of the applied purpose of data analysis. The participants of the research were 60 masters and doctorate teachers of Islamic studies with related trends, from which 20 people were selected by purposeful sampling according to the entry criteria, and semi-structured interviews were carried out from them until they were fully saturated. came Then, from the interviews, primary, central, and selective codes were set according to the statements related to the statistics and finally in the framework of the components and indicators related to the challenges of religious education in the individual dimension. Results: The analysis of interviews with 4 experienced religious teachers with a specialized doctorate degree and 16 experienced teachers with a master's degree showed that the individual challenges of students' religious education are, respectively; Challenges of people's growth platform (region 1) in religious education, individual problems in rebellion against religious education, effective personal gaps in religious education, challenges based on lack of personal recognition in religious education, individual and family challenges in religious education. Conclusion: The analysis of the resulting data in the framework of the chosen method has shown that the individual challenges of religious education of female students of the second stage of high school (Zone 1 of Tehran) can be investigated and explained in 5 components and 68 indicators.
